Right ON ... I was thinking the same thing. Of course the fair and balanced Washington Post joins forces on a poll with the middle of the road ABC News on the Monday after the big rally in Washington in coming out with a perfectly timed post claiming progress for Obama and company is no fluke ... is it?

God is All-Merciful. BUt his mercy is also a big test, just like evrything he gives us, there are all tests on each and every one of us, humans and non-humans.

His Mercy stretched for the Jewish people; He endowed them with great intellectual gifts so they have been winning the nobel prizes for all sorts of great things. He also gave others great gifts at different times.

Have you noticed that the world is never the same, it changes over time. One time God will give the gift of cultural superiority to one lot of people, and at another time toa different lot of people. The best time for the Muslims was in the middle ages during its "Golden Age" where intellectual strides were made and many discoveries were made by Muslims then.

Algebra, camera (& optics), astrolabe are just three out of thousands of inventions which we think are english names actually derive for things that have discovery roots in the Islamic world...even the drinking of coffee.

There are also many facts that are deliberately kept out of the school history books of the western world...like the fact that the Muslims discovered America, oh, yes, well before the celebrated Columbus!

You see the Arabs and Muslims ruled the seas then and brought their trade and religion to as far as China in the middle ages. Later, some Muslims from Africa that now long forgotten continent, went out to the Americas.

Want to see the remnants of this fact, go see for yourself and research. There are still remains of centries-old Muslim communities in South America to this day. And when Columbus reached southern America, he commented in his journal that there were a community of black people there. But of course ths is no where reported in the white-washed world.

But what did the white conquistadors do to the peacefully-co-existing native Indians and Muslims - well, we all know about that. They were shackled and shipped off to be slaves in "civilised" Europe.

Ask yourselves, why are there so many place names in north America that are names you would find in the middle east still today. Because these Muslims possibly spread upwards north and build their communities among the local Indian communities and gave names like Mecca and Medina and many others to link them to their place of origin.

When the white man arrived on the blessed land of America, they oppressed these people and most were killed JUST BECAUSE OF THE COLOUR OF THEIR SKINS and BECAUSE THEY WERE DIFFERENT!!

PLEASE DO NOT LECTURE ON MUSLIM ATTROCITIES!!

The same happened to the Aborigines of Australia.

And do not ever forget ...THE 6 MILLION JEWS WERE KILLED BY CHRISTIANS.

HUMANS WILL ALWAYS KILL. The angels asked God, when He told them He was going to create Humans, "What you mean you are going to put on earth, those who will corrupt and kill?"

JEWS AND CHRISTIANS!!...IN THEIR HOLY BOOK...BECAUSE for THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW...JESUS (ISA) IS A PROPHET TO THE MUSLIMS AND MUSLIMS ARE NOT CONSIDERED MUSLIM UNLESS THEY RESPECT, REVER ALL THE PROPHETS AND THAT INCLUDES MOSES (MUSA) AND THE PATRIACH OF ALL MUSLIMS, JEWS AND CHRISTIANS - ABRAHAM (IBRAHIM in Arabic).

aND BY THE WAY, ALLAH just means GOD or ALMIGHTY or MOST HIGH ONe IN aRABIC. Allah is not a new God.

And the prophet Muhamad never declared nor did God that he was bringing a new religion but the SAME AGE OLD RELIGION that has been changed over time, as all things change over time. HE came to revive and rejuvenate the belief in ONE GOD, not two (dualism) or three (trinitarianism) BUT ONE, ONLY ONE GOD who is the cause for all phenomena.

You have white owned establishments that you only go to, this isn't new to white people! Blacks have suffered from inequality just only a few decades ago and some even now still if your in the south like me! So don't criticize the fact that black people as a whole are trying to get some recognition within the dwindling communities!

I'm going to answer your question, Burger, although it should be quite self-evident. "Our" politicians don't listen for the painfully obvious reason that they're not "our" politicians. The belong to whomever fills their campaign coffers. Now is that you? Is that me? No, Burger, it's not. It's the employers who hire illegal labor, that's who.

I'm posing this answer as if I'm talking to a retarded child because in a sense I am. And you're not alone, I hear that question from seemingly educated people all the time. Why is the answer such a mystery? Got me.
